We are blessed to support and be able to work with the Durham Rescue Mission.
They are a great help in the Raleigh Durham area.
To volunteer or visit the Durham Rescue Mission feel free to contact our Pastor who is a Board Member there.
Every Year Wayside Baptist Church hosts a wonderful Missions Conference.
Join us for our Upcoming annual Missions Jubilee.
Wayside Baptist Church has a Heart for Missions .
Soul-winning should not be just a scheduled event it should be just like our heart beat continual.
The heart beat of God is to saving souls. His love is greatest love. If we as Christians love JESUS we will do His will and be fishermen for souls on a daily basis. John 15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you."
Jesus Christ paid the price for all to be set free. 1Timothy 2:6 "Who gave himself a ransom for all, .."
Luke 19:10 "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."
We all must be willing to go and tell somebody of GOD'S GREAT LOVE.
Romans 10:14 "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"
Let's go soul-winning !!!!!
Every Tuesday our Church holds a service at The Durham County Jail.
Praise The Lord we have had many trust Christ as their Saviour !
RECENTLY ALL JAIL MINISTRIES WERE CANCELLED. WE ARE CURRENTLY WAITING PERMISSION FROM DURHAM COUNTY TO GET ACCESS IN THE JAIL
BIBLE MEDITATION:
“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
There is something wonderful about unity. I heard about a fellow who courted a girl by writing her a beautiful love letter every day for two years. He thought that would be a wonderful way to court her. Do you know what happened? She married the mail carrier! There is nothing like being there. There is nothing like personal contact. There is a sense in which Jesus Christ is present when His people gather that’s not in any other sense. You cannot get it the same way at home.
ACTION POINT:
Do you have a church home? If not, I encourage you to find one today. If church attendance isn’t important, I wonder why Satan works so hard to keep folks away. If you do have a church home, make a special effort this week to meet a new friend and find a need they have which you can meet. A.Rogers
